Commerce, software and research

I have stayed a developer, even after becoming a founder. As Shopware co-founder and Chief Agentic Officer, I explore how technology gives businesses more room to create. At the Agentic Commerce Labs, we test shopping agents, open protocols and merchant tools.

Since June 2023, I have been writing about how AI changes commerce. My article on Agentic eCommerce and first whitepaper follow in January 2025. The new book Agentic Commerce connects those ideas with strategy, technology and practical work.

Alongside that work, I build my own software and pursue research questions. Projects include Glim Studio for local image generation, Nyx for working with local language models and makera-pcb for the workshop. The homepage and public repositories describe the projects and their current status.
